Rutherford Outdoor Coalition is partnering with Rutherford County to improve access to the Broad River. Information on those sites will be posted as they are developed.
Currently, we suggest that you contact River Creek Campground, which is just off Highway 64 a few miles below Lake Lure. They maintain a put-in at their campground and have tube rentals and other services available. Click on the link below to view their web site. Also, you can email us to obtain current information. Check the Events tab for guided paddle trips.
Additonally, Lake Lure Tours opperates a public access site for Lake Lure and offers boat rentals. If you bring your own boat you must purchase a day pass or an annual permit to use the lake.
RIVER SWEEP
