Equestrian Division | Rutherford Outdoor Coalition

2011 marks the beginning of the Equestrian Division of ROC.

"The mission of ROC-ED is to develop, preserve & protect equestrian trails in Rutherford County. By doing so, we will promote trail stewardship, encourage the enjoyment of the outdoors, preserve the beauty of our county through land conservation and positively impact the economy of Rutherford County"

ROC-ED holds their meeting the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm.
These meetings are held at the Annex 289 N. Main St. Rutherfordton, NC. 28139

ROC-ED is in the process of forming an equestrian only trail system throughout Rutherford County. We are modeling our system after the FETA and CETA trail systems in Polk County. We currently have trails planned for the Gilkey/Greenhill and Bostic areas of Rutherford County but the plans are to incorporate many more areas throughout the county. ROC-ED membership is open to anyone who wishes to join. Membership dues must be paid, a waiver be signed, and all rules must be followed for the safety of members and landowners alike.

ROC-ED currently has monthly organized trail rides. We try and keep these with-in easy hauling distance.
