The 2010 version of the Tour de Pumpkin will be the best yet! This year we have added a free post-ride meal and have partnered with the Rutherford Housing Partnership who will receive a portion of the ride proceeds. RHP is a local non-profit that assists low-wealth citizens with much-needed housing repairs. The registration fee will continue to be a low, low $20 and riders will get an event tech t-shirt, goodie bag, meal and a chance at door prizes. Please sign up early as we can only guarantee a t-shirt to the first 100 entrants.

There are still a few sponsor opportunities left. Please contact us about sponsoring this great event.

100K-62 Miles
The 100K ride is a relentless rollercoaster experience with over 4,400 feet of climbing on this loop. The ride quickly leaves the town of Rutherfordton and puts the rider on some of the most beautiful and lightly traveled country roads around. Prior training for this ride is a must as this is not an easy ride, but for those looking for a challenge it is the ride for you. The ride has two rest stops at approximately 24.7 miles and 42 miles. Both stops have a restroom or Port-a-John. A map of the course is provided below.

50K-31 Miles
The 50K ride follows the same route as the 100K for the first stretch, then breaks off, then finishes on the final stretch the 100K. The 50K is basically a mini version of the 100K with plenty of hills to work your legs. The loop includes more than 2,200 feet of climbing.
